2022 Camp: July 15 and 16th, 2022
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2022 CAMPThank you so much for your interest in camp! In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, we are repeating the one-day version of the camp. Our 2021 camp was able to provide dozens of campers with the experience of the Maison T Ortiz Youth Outdoor Skills Camp in a safe environment and we look forward to repeating that in July 2022. The Camp is offered annually on three separate days (July 15 and 16th, 2022), either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Your child will be placed on one of those days after your application is received. Founded in 2011, The Maison T Ortiz Youth Outdoor Skills Camp is a 1-day camp event near Pyramid Lake designed to immerse youths in outdoor skills training and a fun educational experience. The camp is limited to 11-14 year-old girls and boys. Our primary recruiting focus is youths who may not have opportunities to experience Nevada’s outdoors, but we also have a camper classification called “Youth Ambassador,” which allows a limited number of campers who have previous experience to bring a friend with little or no experience.
